At Cloud Age Solutions, our goal is to ensure that our customers are employing the optimal services required to achieve their goals at the best value. For each customer that we take on we perform the following process to ensure we meet this goal:

  • We perform a comprehensive discovery process that allows us to learn about our client’s unique businesses and what matters to them. During this process, we uncover the following types of information:
    • Overview of the current networks, services, etc. currently being used
    • Company’s strategic and business goals / objectives
    • Company’s detailed business processes, applications and major IT / telecom operational use cases
    • Company’s major IT / telecom challenges
  • A detailed inventory of all of the network services being purchased by our customer is compiled so that optimization analyses and recommendations can be made at a later date
  • Electronic invoice data is ordered and an instance of our complimentary multi-carrier analytics portal is set up
  • Armed with knowledge of our customer’s current environment, requirements and goals we then develop a 3 year IT/technology roadmap to become cloud-optimized. Examples of components of the roadmap include the following:
    • Transition to Ethernet-based access networking
    • Transforming WAN architectures leveraging public data center aggregation points to drive down per MB costs and enhance user quality of experience
    • Leveraging SaaS applications for key business processes such as CRM, Trouble Management, Network Management
    • Leveraging hybrid data center approach to take use of elastic nature of public data center operators for peak loads
    • Integrating mobility into current applications and business processes
